Counseling for Veterans in Panama City Beach
You served. You deserve care that understands what that means.
Bay Wellness Group was founded by a U.S. Army Purple Heart Veteran. We understand the culture, the challenges, and the weight that comes with military service. Our counseling provides real support without judgment, pressure, or a one-size-fits-all approach.
the experience
The transition to civilian life is harder than anyone tells you.
Military service shapes everything. How you think, how you handle stress, how you relate to other people, and how you see yourself. When service ends, the structure, the mission, and the sense of belonging can disappear overnight. That loss is real, even when it is hard to name.
For many veterans, mental health challenges do not announce themselves clearly. They show up as irritability, hypervigilance, difficulty sleeping, or feeling
disconnected from family even when you are home. For others it is more direct. Flashbacks, nightmares, and a past that will not stay in the past.
You do not need a diagnosis to deserve support. And you do not need to explain military culture to someone who already understands it.

our approach
Direct, respectful, and grounded in what actually works.
Bay Wellness Group was founded by Jonathan G. Rollins, MS, LMHC, CCMHC, a U.S. Army Purple Heart Veteran and Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
We do not treat veterans as fragile. We treat them as capable people who have been through extraordinary things and deserve evidence-based care delivered without condescension.
Our therapists use trauma-focused approaches including Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and trauma-informed CBT. Treatment is paced collaboratively and adjusted based on what is working. You will never be pushed to revisit something before you are ready.
