Our evaluations measure cognitive functioning across multiple areas including attention and concentration, memory and learning, executive functioning and problem solving, processing speed, language skills, visual-spatial abilities, cognitive flexibility, and emotional and behavioral functioning.
The goal is to identify strengths and weaknesses, clarify diagnoses, and provide specific recommendations for treatment, accommodations, and support.

CREYOS COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT TECHNOLOGY
At Bay Wellness Group, we incorporate Creyos, a scientifically validated cognitive assessment platform, as part of our comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations when clinically appropriate. Creyos provides objective measurement of attention, working memory, executive functioning, cognitive flexibility, processing speed, and reasoning abilities. This additional layer of assessment helps our clinical psychologist develop a more complete understanding of how an individual's brain processes information in everyday life.
OUR APPROACH
The Evaluation Process
Intake Appt
Approximately 30 minutes
We review presenting concerns, medical history, educational and developmental history, mental health history, and previous testing results to determine the most appropriate testing battery for your needs.
Testing Appt
Approximately 3 to 5 hours
A comprehensive battery including neuropsychological testing, cognitive assessments, memory testing, executive functioning measures, attention and processing speed tasks, behavioral rating scales, and Creyos cognitive assessment. Please bring a snack and drink. Short breaks are provided as needed.
Feedback Appt
Your clinical psychologist reviews findings, explains results, discusses any diagnoses, answers your questions, and outlines next steps. You receive a comprehensive written report following this session.

Creyos is an evidence-based cognitive assessment platform that objectively measures attention, memory, executive functioning, processing speed, and other cognitive abilities. It provides additional insight into cognitive strengths and weaknesses as part of a comprehensive evaluation.

Neuropsychological testing uses a broader, more specialized battery of assessments focused specifically on brain-behavior functioning. It is used when neurological concerns, brain injury, or complex cognitive questions are present.

Testing can provide valuable information related to ADHD and autism. Depending on your concerns, specialized assessment measures may also be included as part of the evaluation process.
